BARBS / THE NUNE (Barbara Glavnik), based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She plays melodic techno. She used to be DJ Barbs The Nune, but now she produces under the artistic name THE NUNE.

Barbara found herself in the role of DJ, promoter, and event organizer. THE NUNE is an old Armenian name. Barbara put on that name because she likes to hide herself in the public. She also has faith in the higher power and energy so the name suits her. It is conected with her character. The Nune in Armenian means that she is capable, ambictious and resourceful. She is also generous and likes to share what she has with others. It is also attractive for big stages. She plays a lot in festivals and clubs in Slovenia, Croatia and Italy..

All her life, she was connected with music. From a young age, when the guitar came into her hands, she was supernaturally musically gifted. As the rocker by soul and the connoisseur of electronic music, her music selection goes against the rules of the genres. She doesn’t prepare playlists for DJ sets. Every track is special, that’s why her sets have great melodics and harmonies. Her unique way of spinning melodic house techno music makes everyone dance, on the dance floor you can even see people dancing with tears of happiness. Solomon's Diynamic team, Innervisions, Afterlife, Ambasada Gavioli, and her favorite band Placebo formed her music taste. They spent many days together, so now their sound runs through her veins . When she touches the knobs on the mixer, she switches off the world around her and falls in the trance. Her way of spinning music gets you connected with the spiritual level of consciousness. 

Due to health problems, she put a professional music career on hold. Thru 2020, she was fighting for her life, but she rose up like a Phoenix from the ashes. Barbara finally managed to recover. 2021 is a turning point in her career and life.
